The SAP Data Archiving Packaged Service improves system performance and reduces costs by relocating

obsolete application data attached to completed business transactions into a secure optical storage system.

The solution is expandable and cost-effective, and can be implemented for a data object of your choice.

 

For databases with a growth greater than 10GB per month or over 200GB prior to the Data Archiving Packaged

Service,a Data Management Service* is recommended. This service will look for opportunities to avoid data growth,

summaries data, delete data and make recommendations on which tables to archive.See  www.service.sap/dma  for details .

WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE PACKAGE AND AT THE FIXED PRICE WE WILL:

  • Install and connect the archiving software to your current R/3 system

  • Train relevant staff

  • Offer advice on further extending the archiving functionality
